Sinjuang Elementary School students got their hands dirty and learned about where their food comes from during a special agri-food education event at the Fuma Canal Happy Farm on June 16, 2025! This event was organized by the Student Affairs Office.

The students explored the farm, observing and harvesting seasonal organic vegetables. This fun activity taught them about the importance of the land, the food we eat, and our environment. It helped them learn to respect and be thankful for all these things.

A big thank you goes to Ms. Chen Jing-wen from Class 4A for her help and support. The Student Affairs Office and Ms. Shu-fen also provided great help with all the planning. Because everyone worked together so kindly, this semester's agri-food education class ended perfectly. The students learned so much and really enjoyed the experience!

On Wednesday afternoon, June 11, 2025, the Violin Club at Sinjuang Elementary School held a special party to say goodbye to their graduating members!

Principal Wu Wen-hui thanked Teacher Ho Jia-chi for her many years of guiding the Violin Club. Under her excellent teaching, the club has performed in many events outside of school, as well as for school anniversaries, first days of school, and big holidays. She has brought so much joy and wonderful memories to the children.

Since this was the last violin class for the graduating students, this farewell party was planned to wish them well. Everyone wished the graduates a happy graduation and a bright future! Teacher Ho Jia-chi also wrote special messages in the students' graduation yearbooks.

Sinjuang Elementary School held an exciting "Healthy Promotion Anti-Drug Cup" 3-on-3 basketball game for its graduating students! The games officially began on June 5, 2025, right after their graduation exams.

Many graduating students from the sixth grade who love basketball formed teams to play. There were a total of 14 teams, with both boys' and girls' groups.

A big thank you goes to Mr. Chen Bi-qi from the Physical Education Division for planning such a great event. Director Shih-hong and Section Chief Bi-qi also helped by being the referees.

The sidelines were packed with cheering classmates! Their shouts and cheers made the games even more fun for the graduating players. Everyone enjoyed playing 3-on-3 basketball together and made wonderful memories of sweating and having fun on the court before they graduate!

On June 4, 2025, students in Class 2A at Sinjuang Elementary School had a special environmental education class! It was a "Net-Zero Green Living" promotion program brought to the school by the Changhua County Environmental Protection Bureau.

A big thank you goes to Teacher Shu-hua for arranging this free special lecture from the Environmental Protection Bureau. They even provided a $4,000 NTD subsidy for the school to use! It was a wonderful activity.

The students learned important things about protecting our Earth and how to live a "net-zero green life." They also had fun making "eco-friendly treasure bags" with the lecturer, Ms. He Yi-chun! The children were very happy.

This program helps everyone understand that by 2050, we need to have "net-zero emissions." This means changing how we eat, dress, live, travel, learn, play, and shop. By working together, sharing, and making smart choices, we can build a future with a sustainable, low-carbon way of life.

On Thursday, May 29, 2025, Mr. Lee Shih-hong, the Director of Student Affairs at Sinjuang Elementary School, checked on the Sinjuang Happy Farm. He also looked at how well the "organic fertilizer" was working.

Having a Happy Farm at school is wonderful! It lets students experience "farm to table" learning, where they can see where their food comes from. Learning to care for plants at school is a great experience for them.

Right now, the organic vegetables at the Happy Farm are growing very well! After the rain, they look extra green and full of life. Today was the third time organic fertilizer was added to the plants.

Everyone is welcome to bring their children to visit and learn at the farm! There's even a special "learning hallway" with signs explaining all about the organic vegetables.

Sinjuang Elementary School students recently had a wonderful time learning to swim! They completed their last of six lessons and had a final test on May 29, 2025. The best part? These swimming classes were completely free for the students!

The Changhua County Government provided a generous NT$122,400 to pay for everything. This meant students could learn important water skills without any cost.

Every Thursday for six weeks, students traveled by bus to the Wang Jin-pyng Swimming Pool at National Changhua University of Education. This pool has warm water and certified lifeguards, making it a safe place to learn.

Professional swimming coaches taught the children about water safety, how to save themselves, floating, and practicing their kicks. Teachers like Ms. Chen Jing-wen, Mr. Chou Yu-gen, Ms. Huang Ling-ya, Ms. Yang Ya-ting, and Student Affairs Director Shih-hong also went with the students to help out.

These lessons gave students valuable skills and lots of happy, unforgettable memories!

Sinjuang Elementary School teachers recently had an exciting training session focused on Space Education! Mr. Hsu Han-pin visited the school to share his knowledge and spark an interest in space among the teachers.

The afternoon workshop was a big success, really "opening the eyes" of the teachers. They found the session wonderful and gave excellent feedback! Because it was so popular, the school has already scheduled another space education workshop with Mr. Hsu Han-pin for the future.

This training helps teachers understand that space technology is at the forefront of all knowledge. By sharing about space, we can see how exploring the universe, its science, and its technology are deeply connected to our daily lives. The goal is to inspire students' creativity and their desire to learn more about the world, and beyond!

Sinjuang Elementary School's incredible Track and Field Team achieved a fantastic victory at the 2025 Hemei Township Sports Meet on May 25, 2025! They truly dominated, winning three overall championships and one overall runner-up title!

Our talented young athletes showed amazing spirit and skill, taking home:

What an outstanding performance from our track and field stars, grabbing three of the four overall championships! One of our students even set new meet records in both the 60-meter and 100-meter races!

This huge success was supported by many wonderful people. A big thank you to Principal Wu Wen-hui and Chairman Chen Yu-ying for leading the team. We also appreciate Vice Chairman Li Ming-cheng, committee members Chen Wen-ting and Hsieh Chao-yang, volunteer Tan Hsiu-tuan, and all the parents and family members who came to cheer and provide drinks.

We look forward to seeing our team continue to shine and break more personal records at the upcoming County Games (August 6-8) and the Taichung Cup National Competition!

On May 13, 2025, Sinjuang Elementary School held an important anti-drug education event for its 6th-grade teachers and students. This special session was part of the school's "Health Promotion Series Activities."

Ms. Kao Mei-yueh, a teacher from Tzu Chi, led the powerful presentation with two other volunteers. The main message was clear: "Don't Let Drugs Kidnap Your Brain!"

The presentation was very engaging, using many helpful materials and multimedia videos. Students learned about new kinds of drugs and the serious harm they can do to both the body and mind. Ms. Kao emphasized again and again that students must never touch drugs.

Principal Wu Wen-hui presented a certificate of appreciation to Ms. Kao Mei-yueh and the two volunteers for their wonderful anti-drug message and sharing. The school hopes that all students will remember these vital anti-drug lessons for their entire lives, wishing them safety and happiness always!
